Obituary of Lois Frances Fonger

Heaven’s gates swung gently open, the Master called softly, “Come”. Fonger, Lois Frances, nee Adams entered her eternal rest on Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy. Predeceased by husband Vernon M. Fonger (1960), sons Frederick E. (1972) and Lloyd D.V. (2014). Daughter of the late Byron A. Adams (1945) and his wife Lois Frances, nee Miles (1923). Brothers Wesley, John (Lillain), Robert (Catherine), sisters Louisa (Wilson) Butler and Mary Alice. Survived by son Bruce (Barbara) Fonger, daughters Lois-Ann (Bev) Mackey and Mary Iva Beth Fonger. Grandchildren and great grandchildren Jason and Maureen Fonger (Brandon and Sonja), Anne-Marie and Timothy Hanna (Kent and Brett), Scott and Angie Mackey (Cameron, Lauryn and Isaac), Mark Fonger and friend Sherry, Janelle and Jason Curtis (Benjamin), Fred and Nicole Fonger, Craig and Michelle Fonger (Paige, Christian and Logan), Lyndzey La Charité-Borisavljevic and Nick (Lyla and Finley), Andrew and Nicole La Charité (Austin) and Jay La Charité. Visitation will be held at Denning`s of Strathroy on Monday, July 6th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 301 Pannell Lane, Strathroy, on Tuesday at 2pm, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Strathroy Cemetery. Guided by God`s loving hand, I`ve gone on a journey to a distant brighter land. “I pass this way but once. Any good that I can do, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116/15.
