Obituary of Karen Annette Thuss

Surrounded by family and friends on Monday July 27th, 2015, Karen A. Thuss (nee Schalk) at the age of 52. Beloved wife of Alfons M. Thuss. Loving mom of Julia D. Donker (Levy), Michael P. Graansma, Josh A. Thuss (Courtney), Tini A. Thuss (John-Ross), Fraser F. Thuss, and Melissa J. Kooyman (Liam). Proud grandma to Rylee, Joshua and Xavier. Karen is survived by her mother Joanne Schalk and her brothers Frank H. Schalk (Nelia) and John J. Schalk (Paula). Predeceased by her father Pieter C. Schalk (1982). Karen will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends. Friends and family will be received at East Christian Reformed Church, 476 Metcalfe Street East, Strathroy, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm, where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning at 11am. Donations in Karen’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Denning’s of Strathroy.
