Eva was such a special but quiet lady. Many memories of her and Doug. Saturday nights at the farm and in Strathroy with euchre games..in town playing ping pong...staying over during no power ice storms. I still have my leather purse we received from them from Antigua!!! Condolences and prayers for everyone during this sad time.

We were depression kids; our cousins, Eva and John, my two sisters and I. So hand-me-downs were necessary and often very welcome. I fell heir to Eva's burgundy wool bonnet when I was about six. The bonnet was OK, but the matching muff was something else. A treasure that warmed my little heart. Though our families lived far apart, our yearly visits were times of love and laughter. Eva was a part of those memories, and our occasional visits in recent years have been equally warm. Her life has blest us all.
