My sincere condolences to Peggy and Mary Lou,
My mother (Jean Lemay) and Honey became good friends back in the 1950's in Haileybury. They lived two doors apart on Browning St and Honey and Jean became close as they both had small children. They reconnected in Burlington many years later and their friendship resumed. I always enjoyed meeting up with them occasionally for tea. I have such fond memories of Honey as she and Mom were often laughing and chatting about the "good old days" in Haileybury. Every time I spoke to my Mom and she said she had spent time with Honey I knew it was a happy day.
I am sure you will find comfort in all your wonderful memories of your Mom and Dad.

It was always a pleasure to be Honey's"Avon lady". While we had great visits over the right shade of lipstick, the pride and joy that her family gave her was where our conversations would land. Updates on achievements and phone calls and gatherings always brought a smile to her face. May you treasure your memories of her as dearly.

As we have mentioned to you earlier, we are so thankful Honey reconnected with us in 1990. Her continuous letters and phone calls alway brought smiles to our faces.
In the early 90s Honey, Murray and Donna visited us on the acreage. After supper we sat around and Honey told us stories about the Ferguson family which we soaked in. Then she started asking our son, Mike, about his hockey adventures. He was 13 at the time. She went into detail about all aspects of playing hockey and what Mike should be looking for while playing. He was fascinated with her knowledge and so he asked if her son or grandson played. She shook her head and with a huge smile on her face she said “I played hockey when I was a young woman and our team won a championship”. Mike said, “wow, I didn’t know there were even skates way back then”. I thought Honey was going to wet her pants, she laughed so hard. A memory that always brings fond memories of Honey.
Honey and her family will always have a special place in our hearts
