Our condolences to the McLean family on Joe's passing. I remember visiting the McLean farm as a very young boy. I remember that there was a huge bull in the barn. The biggest I had ever seen. My dad and Eloise are first cousins. We hope you find comfort from friends and family during this difficult time.

A wonderful neighbour - we both grew up just down the road. Joe was a staple in the community with his friendly smile and kind ways. He was a great host when you both held our wedding shower. He was always ready to pour the next drink for whoever wanted it. And he knew how to make a strong drink.

When I was young I have special memories of going to the horse races with Joe and my Dad. He loved the races. I loved going over to Joe and Eloise’s as a young kid as there was always a popsicle waiting for us. I have many wonderful memories of our special neighbours and Joe proved to be truly one-of-a-kind.
He will be greatly missed. We are so sorry Eloise and also to Rick, Bill and all of the family.

Sending our deepest condolences to Eloise and family. We have many happy memories of Joe. He was the first person from the neighbourhood to welcome us to the community in 1968, and we stayed close for almost 54 years. Gerald says Joe was like his second Dad, and he always listened to his words of wisdom and they never steered him wrong. Our kids always loved going over to Joe and Eloise’s and never left without a popsicle. They also have many happy memories of those years. Joe will always have a special place in our hearts.

Joe was the kindest, sweetest man and we were so lucky to have him and Eloise as our neighbours growing up. Joe was a wonderful tour guide and host to Jim and I when we visited Las Vegas 22 years ago. He made sure we had lots to eat and drink!! Oh Eloise, Rick & Bill & families - my deepest sympathy to you all. Joe has been my neighbour my entire life!! A wonderful friend to all. One of the nicest people I've ever known. And our kids loved the visits from Santa every year! Glenn enjoyed those visits a lot too!!!

My condolences to the family. Mr. McLean was a client of mine during my years as a broker and agent retiring from Goodhand Insurance. I saw him once a year and when he purchased his new vehicles. Fond memories of a kind gentleman. I missed him when I retired and he will be missed now by all.
