Obituary of Joseph McLeod

Passed away suddenly at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Thursday September 4, 2008. Joseph Donald McLeod in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Foster) McLeod of Strathroy and dear father of Joe (Brenda) and Jon McLeod of Strathroy and grandfather of Jason(Angie) McLeod, Tammy and Chad McLeod. Great-grandfather to Cyber and Remy. Also survived by sisters-in-law Iva McLeod and Justa Gilliland also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Archie, Bill, Doug, Neil and Don McLeod and his sisters Hannah Pedden, Sadie Cadman, Mary Waun, Christina Whitelaw, Donalda Graham and Jean Scott. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home Strathroy on Sunday September 7th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm where funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Monday September 8th with Rev. Jock Tolmay officiating. Private family interment later at Sylvan Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
