Slaven Pavic

Obituary of Slaven Pavic

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Slaven Pavic, who left us on June 26, 2025. Slaven was a devoted father to Olivia Pavic (Ian Straatman) and Chloe Pavic (Amin Panjshiri), who were the light of his life. He will be dearly missed by Tammy Pitts, the loving mother of his children. Slaven is survived by his beloved mother, Mara Pavic, and his dear sister, Vesna Sanchez (Alexander Sanchez). He was predeceased by his father, Ivan Pavic, whose memory he carried with him always.

A man of many passions, Slaven found joy in music— especially singing and playing the guitar. His soulful voice and heartfelt melodies brought comfort and happiness to those around him. He also loved spending time outdoors, often seen walking his beloved dogs, Rosie and Frankie, who were his faithful companions. Slaven’s warmth, humour, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be held to honour his life at St. Leopold Mandic Parish on Saturday, July 5th at 11:30 AM. Afterwards we invite you to join us in the hall for a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to enjoy a walk in nature, listen to a favourite song in his memory, or donate to St. Leopold Mandic Parish in his honour..
