Obituary of Charlotte Rose Mann
It is with great sadness that we share that Charlotte Rose Mann passed away peacefully with family at her side on July 4, 2025, at Craigwiel Gardens in Ailsa Craig. A kind and gentle soul, she had recently celebrated her 99th birthday, and we feel truly blessed to have had her with us for so many years. Charlotte “Rose” was happiest when surrounded by her family and cherished all the special memories she created with them over the years. She was predeceased by her husband Edward (Ted) [1989], and her sons Tom [2005] and Ross [2021]. She will be deeply missed by her son Ralph, and her daughters-in-law Kathryn (Ralph) and Donna Mann (Ross).
Charlotte “Rose” was the beloved grandmother of Jennifer (Martin) Bourque, Darryl (Jen) Mann, Jason (Melanie) Mann, Terri Lynn (Kevin) Petrie, Tammy Mann, Michelle (Chris) Gratton, Mary Ann (Wes) Pickles, Tinsa Mann, Jeremy (Christine) Mann. She is also lovingly remembered by her seventeen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Charlotte “Rose” loved animals, her flower gardens, reading, and sports such as hockey, baseball, and auto racing. She never missed any activities her family participated in, whether a local parade, dance recital, figure skating competition, soccer, baseball, or hockey games.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Craigwiel Gardens in Ailsa Craig for all their care, support and compassion.
A Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 10:00am until the funeral service at 11:00am, followed by a private family interment at Strathroy Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Compass Community Church at 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy.
