Steve, the girls and I enjoyed the last visit we had with Gramps. Gramps had picked up 2 boxes of mandarins. The girls were gobbling them up faster then he could peel them. The girls giggled by Gramps side waiting patiently for the next bite. Its a great memory I won't forget.
You will always be in my heart, my memories and in the stories I share. Your smile and your laugh will never be forgotten. Butterfly kisses forever Dad.

We were blessed to have spent a few holidays with Manfred. We called him uncle Manny. We have moved out of the area but my wife asked my in-laws if they had spoken to Manfred earlier this week, not knowing that he had passed away. We enjoyed talking to him and spending time with him. We really understood one another. I would invite him out to local places to listen to me sing and hear his stories.
We love and miss you uncle Manny. We are better people for knowing you and R.I.P

As a member of the Sarnia Lions, Manfred will be greatly missed by his many friends in the Lions Organization. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Altmann Family. Please let us know when the Memorial Service for Manfred will take place. We would like to have members of the Sarnia Lions present, if possible. Rest in Peace Manfred.

My dad spoke to me many times in the last few months. In our conversations he expressed that he was feeling more and more tired but was in good spirits.
He told me he didn't have anything left on his bucket list and was enjoying time with his neighbours.
