Obituary of John Richard Pearson

Tragically, while doing what he loved in his Beautiful Red Aerobatic Skybold Bi-plane at the Brantford Airport. John Richard Pearson of St. George at the age of 65. John is survived by his loving wife Anne and by his son Tyler. John is also survived by his sister Mary (Larry) MacDonald of Strathroy, brother Tom Pearson of Comox B.C. and brothers-in-law Bill Pollock of Sarnia and Jim (Joanne) Pollock of Strathroy. John will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Tim, Christie, Andrea, Kate, Brian and Sarah and their families. John is predeceased by his parents Leonard and Anne Pearson and father and mother-in-law Donald and Peg Pollock. John enjoyed a distinguished aviation career as a pilot with the opportunity to fly former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, Governor’s General and her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Visitation for John will be held on Sunday, September 7th, 2014 at Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy (32 Metcalfe Street West) from 2-5 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 8th, at 11am with visitation one hour prior (10-11 am) at All Saint’s Catholic Parish 124 Front St. East. Father John Pirt and Father Frank O’Connor. Interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
