Obituary of Joan Emily Thompson

THOMPSON, Joan Emily (nee Hunter) – With much sadness the Thompson family announces the sudden passing of Joan Emily Thompson on Wednesday November 12, in London, at the age of 83. Joan joins her beloved husband of 59 years, Vincent Thompson who passed in August of this year. Much loved mother of Karen Berteau (Charles) of Plano TX and proud grandmother of Kaitlyn Berteau and Christian Berteau both of Plano TX. Survived by her twin sister Jean Marshall of Sarnia, sister-in-law Carol Hunter of London, and brother Bob Hunter of Strathroy. She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her sister Willa Wuerth of Exeter and her parents Robert and Jean Hunter of Strathroy. As per Joan’s wishes, the family will be holding a private service only.
