Dear Barb and Gary
We were unable to attend your Father's Funeral due to the inclement weather. Uncle Steve was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed talking to him about his classic Thunderbird. Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your Father and our last surviving Topolie uncle.
Sincerely Larry and Lindy McCormick

It is with regret that we are not able to make the drive to Strathroy today to attend the funeral of uncle Steve, due to this inclement weather. It was certainly our intention to be there.
We offer our sincere condolences to Barbara, Gary and family. Uncle Steve was special in many ways, but most especially as the last surviving member of the first generation of our family.
God bless uncle Stephen Topolie and family as they gather for his funeral today. We are thankful for his life, and the lives of his siblings which will continue to be inspirational for us all.
Sincerely,
Michael, Cheryl, Jocelyn and Jenna Topolie

Dear Barb and Gary:
Joe sent me your father's obituary. I was sad for both of you, and it sparked many memories of our young lives in LaSalle The best times of my life. Remember Barb, when we would come home from school, turn on American Band Stand, and dance ourselves silly. And the little plays we would put on in the garage, Gary taunting us all the while.
I don/t know what your dad might have thought about all that. But the weekend was golf even way back then. Tall, young and good looking. The world at their feet. When the move to Oakville came, it broke my heart. I have had lots of friends but none better than you. The Topolie family has stayed in my heart. The family I see has really grown since those days. Your father reaching 100 years old is a sign he loved life. And I am sure you have both been the best of children to him. God Bless all of you on this sad occasion of Steve;s passing. Remembered lovingly, Paula (Sherlock) and Gerry Bastien

To the Topolie Family: Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your Dad & Grandpa. Doesn't matter how old or how sick, he was your Dad and it is never easy no matter the circumstances. My memory of " Grandpa" will be fishing with him at Northport PEI and the boat ride we took.So glad you, Gary and Barb ,could be there with Grandpa as his journey here on earth ended. Love to All.
