Audrey and Charlie opened their home to me, and later my brother Julian, when we played for the Strathroy Rockets. They were wonderful billets and made us feel like part of their family. Over the last 18 years, Audrey and Charlie have made great efforts to stay in touch with me and my family, a great testament to their love and generosity. Our deepest sympathies to Audrey and the family. We will miss Charlie but take great comfort in knowing he is in a better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Brown family. God Bless.

It was with shock and deep sorrow that I read of Charlie's passing, and I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Audrey, and to Charlie's family members. I cannot think of a single time that I was with Charlie that there weren't some chuckles, and his smile, his laugh and his good nature will always be part of my fond memories of him. Charlie always seemed to be a reminder that one should enjoy life, and greet it with a smile. You will be missed by many Charlie Brown, but we will embrace many fond memories forever.
