So sorry to hear of Ted passing away. He was an amazing man. We lived on Pinetree for 12 years, and ever since Ted moved in he would always wave or talk or see him walking or driving his old school car that my son just love see him drive it. Cheryl and I are so shocked and sad to hear of Ted's passing. He was a good friend and I loved working with him at 3M. His retirement story is legendary at 3m. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Ted leaving us so suddenly. It was just a few weeks ago we were trying to get together to catch up on car projects. Lucy, I will not be able to attend the service to celebrate Ted's life due to a previous commitment but I will be thinking about Ted, you and the family. Its such a shock when a friend leaves so suddenly ... and so young! I'm just glad he had the chance to retire early from 3M and enjoy the few years he's had since. His bubbly personality will be greatly missed. You rarely get to know people who have a permanent smile on their face, but Teddy was one of them. I will miss being with him on our usual treks to car shows. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dear Lucy, We can't tell you how shocked and saddened were are to hear of Ted's sudden passing, and we regret that we have not had the opportunity to see him on the golf course with the Monday Nighters. We have been very busy caring for Fran's parents, and ironically, Fran's father passed away the same morning as Ted. We are sure that Ted and Dad will enjoy each other's company in Heaven. They were both such wonderful gentlemen, and share that gentle nature and sense of humour. We will not be able to attend services to celebrate Ted's life as Dad's are at the same times. We were sorry to learn of Ted's passing. We do not know your family well, but live on Riverview Drive, where we have admired TEDLUCY from afar (I remember commenting on the car once to which Ted replied "I'm Lucy"), and have also enjoyed years of Hallowe'en shenanigans while trick-or-treating with the kids. Lucy - our deepest sympathy. Steve met Ted through Bob Stewart/the men's golf league at Caradoc and we met you a few times at the wrap-up men's golf party. I remember Ted bringing Roses and handing one out to all of the ladies at one of the parties....I thought, now there is a man with a big heart and a kind beautiful soul.... The Rose Beyond The Wall Near shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light, Watered and fed by morning dew, Shedding its sweetness day and night. As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall Through which there shone a beam of light. The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before, And it lost itself in beauties new, Breathing its fragrance more and more. The rose still grows beyond the wall, Scattering fragrance far and wide Just as it did in days of yore, Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forevermore.
