It is with great sadness I learn of the passing of this great man. Alan was a friend and mentor. He was my biggest advocate and always encouraging as I embarked on my fledgling lodge career. He checked in from time to time with words of advice and was always there for me when I had questions or concerns, which was often.
A humble, generous and gracious man. Ingrid I wish you the best through my tears of sadness for a gentle giant and wonderful man. Al, may the fish be biting up there.
