Obituary of Raymond Russell Brock

BROCK At his home, on Saturday, July 4th, 2015. Raymond Russell Brock of Strathroy and formerly of West Adelaide at the age of 97. Lovingly remembered by his wife Donelda (Wilson) of 73 years. Dear father of Richard and Norma Brock of Cambridge and Nancy Carruthers and Al Demaray of Strathroy. Loving grandfather of Amy, Ray, Kristin, Nicole, Hailey and Devon and great grandfather of 8. Fond uncle of Pauline, Alan, Linda, Wilson, John and David. At age 18 Ray drove his team of horses to Adelaide township to start farming on his own. He married a neighbor girl, Donelda in 1942. DONRAY farm and West Adelaide Presbyterian Church were the foundation for his life. The changes in technology during his life time were enormous but, through it all his integrity and values never wavered. His family was his priority. Friends are invited to celebrate Ray’s life at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 at 11 am. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until service time.
