Obituary of Ted Brouwer

Peacefully passed surrounded by his loving family on November 9th, 2015 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Brouwer and formerly of Sarie Duthler. Cherished father of Sara Brouwer (Tom Land), Gary Brouwer (Robin) and Lisa Brouwer- Thompson (Josh). Proud grandpa (opa) of Ryan Zaharie, Lucas, Jesse (Tricia), Alex, and Annie Brouwer, Pierce (Kaila) and Noelle Sernett. Special great-grandpa to Ava Sernett. Step-father of Sharon (Wim) Karelse and John (Trinivic) Bruschetto. Step-grandpa of Peter (Sarah) and Jenny Karlese and step-great- grandpa of Greg and Zach Bruschetto. Survived by his siblings Kay (Dennis) Devries, Jane (Ted) Groenewegen, Phil (Teuni) Brouwer, Elsie (John) Boersma, Irene (Roger) Konyndyk, and Gerda Brouwer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 from 7 until 9p.m at Westmount Christian Reformed Church (405 Drury Lane) Strathroy. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2p.m at Westmount. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Strathroy Community Christian School.
