Obituary of Barbara Grace Nabert

NABERT: Barbara Grace Barbara Grace Nabert was born on December 26th, 1918 in Gore Bay, on Manitoulin Island. Barbara died on November 29th, 2015 in Winnipeg. She was the last surviving child of Jennie and Joseph Montgomery. Barbara leaves behind her daughter Shirley Jean Feasey (Ken, May 2015) of Winnipeg as well as by her grandchildren Scott (Natasha), Darin (Susan) and Kirk (Marli). Cherished great grandma of Kayla, Darik, Kehlan, Kael, and Kishio. Forever remembered by her sisters-in-law Margaret Montgomery, Audrey Nabert, and Leona Brose, her niece Heather Patterson and many other nieces and nephews throughout Ontario and Alberta. Barbara and Walter lived in Strathroy for a number of years. After Walter died in 1997; she could no longer manage her home and moved to Winnipeg, spending the last eight years residing with Shirley. Barbara loved to go for Sunday drives, eat out at restaurants, loved baking and eating ice-cream, getting her hair done, and having manicures and pedicures. She also enjoyed helping out in the garden, sitting on the porch and watching baseball and hockey. Friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 from 10am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Share a memory at www.denning.ca.
