Obituary of Jose Sousa Azevedo

It is with great sorrow the family of Jose Azevedo announce his passing on December 11th, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Alzira Azevedo. Loving father of Fernando Azevedo (Gracinda) and Fernanda Giffen (Michael). Cherished Avo of Sean, Jessica and Aaron Giffen. Survived by his sister Noelia Goncalves (Fernando) in Sao Miguel, and sister-in-law Judy Gomes (late Jeronimo). Predeceased by his brother Francisco Azevedo, sister-in-law Jesuina Machado and brother-in-law Marcolino Machado. Jose will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13th, 2015 from 5-9 p.m at Denning’s of Strathroy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 14th, 2015 at 11a.m at All Saints Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Strathroy. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or charity of one’s choice. Online condolences may be left at denning.ca.
