Obituary of Ann McLean

McLean: Barbara “Ann”, (Fletcher), nee Wilkie It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Mom, Ann McLean on December 28th, 2015 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Murray Fletcher who passed away in 1974, and Ron McLean who passed away in 2010. Loving mother of Peggy and Kevin White, Wendy and Rob Windis, Launie and Brenda Fletcher, Graham and Karen McLean, Murray McLean and Wendy Thompson, and Nancy and Rob Woods. Predeceased by son Teddy in 1973. She was also the proud grandma of 16 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Ann is survived by her brother Grant Wilkie, sister-in-law Eleanor Bloomfield, and brother-in-law Gerald Talbot, and predeceased by brother George, and sisters Gwen, Margaret, and Jean. We would like to thank the staff at Countryside Manor in Coldstream where Mom enjoyed being a part of their family. Also, thank you to Sprucedale Care Centre for the kindness and compassion you gave Mom during her stay there. Visitation will be held at DENNING’s OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe Street West, on Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 from 6 to 9pm and again on Thursday morning from 11am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12pm.
