Obituary of Adelina Barbara Da Silva

Da Silva, Adelina Barbara Bettencourt Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Sprucedale Care Centre on January 2nd, 2016, mom went to be with our Lord in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Virgilio (2007). Caring and cherished mother of Maria Adelina (2015), Carlos Vieira (2015), Maria Luisa and John Therrien of Strathroy, and Manny and Lynn Silva of Dorchester. Loving and proud grandmother of Jennifer (Charlie) Baker, James Vieira, Diane (Charlie) Oliveira, Mark (Celeste) Therrien, Derrick (Denise) Galajda, and Andrea Silva. Dearly missed by her loving great-grandchildren that she adored Madison and Cameron Oliveira, Lauren and Preston Therrien, Alexandra, Justina and Dylan Galajda, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mom was predeceased by her grandson Christopher Silva (1980), parents Manuel and Maria Barbara Bettencourt, sisters Maria (Jose) Bettencourt, Irene (Manuel) Furtado, and Armanda (Joao) Madruga. Friends will be received at Denning’s of Strathroy on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 from 6 until 9p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, January 8th at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, from 10 until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m celebrated by Father John Pirt. Interment to follow at All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery, Strathroy. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the All Saints Church. Online condolences may be left at denning.ca
