Sadly I just saw this. Peter was one of the kindest men I knew and we spent a lot of time together in our twenties. John Gallacher and Pete are hanging out once again. God rest your soul Pete.

This is Uncle Peter and me in September 2013. I hadn't seen him in awhile but he was still a funny smart-ass and stubborn. Me and Aunt Georgina couldn't get him to go outside that day but it was a good visit.

May the peace which comes from the memories of the love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I am very shocked and saddened to hear of Peter's passing...We developed a friendship over the years I knew him. Also with his sister Georgina...Peter had a very handsome smile...loved his music, and managed to cope with his many disabilities..he will be missed. Hugs to Georgina, John, and the remainder of Peter's family......
Pete was such a happy, content man. He always had a smile on his face and found joy in making people laugh. He had a great sense of humour! We shared many laughs together. He loved watching his movies and sports but also had a very social side. He enjoyed attending social gatherings involving music. You couldn't stump him with naming any rock n roll song! Pete may have had a love for rock n roll but also attended church regularly and loved singing along to the hymes.
Pete, you will be greatly missed! That special hyme that was said to be your favourite (Jesus loves me) has been repeatedly playing in my head the past couple days.
So blessed to have seen you over the Christmas break. Rest in Peace Pete.
