I have the greatest respect for Paul, whose talents with ideas and solutions that included some form of metal work , have helped to change London's construction scene for decades.
I first met Paul in 1967 while we both worked for my father Ewald and Sam Katz at Cherryhill. What I always admired about Paul was his ability to understand engineered solutions through applying his personal experience to a project. Paul worked with our family businesses from Esam, to Old Oak Properties and finally Bluestone Properties.
He was always patient and always had a great sense of humor ,and a big heart.
I know that if there is a welding machine up in heaven, he will enjoy repairing those gates with Sam and Ewald watching.
