Dear Vickie and family: We would like to send our condolences to all of you. Lefty was like a member of our family for many years when we lived in Sylvan. There wasn't many weekends went by that Lefty, Bob, Uncle Don and other family members weren't together either fishing, playing cards or at ball tournaments. I felt like Lefty was another big brother for me to look up to. My dream of dreams came true when I played ball on the same team as Lefty and brother Bob. Dear Vickie, Jean, Larry, Sherrie & Pete & all Families:
I can only imagine the grief you’re all feeling at the loss of Lefty. He was such a funny guy, an excellent cook and an even better fisherman from what I’ve heard. He had many friends, too many to count. He treated everyone with fairness and his familiar sense of humour. That was always a given. He loved many people including his grandchildren Jer & Josh. Admittedly he loved more people than he let on, you could tell by the way he interacted with them. His laughter and enthusiasm at watching his beloved hockey and baseball games on tv will be missed by all that surrounded him in the room.
So, here’s to Lefty!! Thanks for being my friend. I’ll miss you.
