Obituary of Glenna Pierce

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Glenna" Faye " Belle Pierce (Galbraith) on Sunday November 4, 2012 at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy in her 87th year. Dearly loved wife for 66 years to the late William "Stewart" Pierce (July 6, 2012) . Treasured mother and grandmother of Larry Pierce; Darlene and Wally Green and their children Nathan and Tonia; Adam and Robyn and Matthew; Rudy and Brendia Pierce and their children Andrew and Natalie; Herbie and Robyn Pierce; Rob and Wendy Pierce and their children Kathryn, Michael and Eric; Laurie and Phil Gowdy and their children Jessica and Melissa. Loving great grandma of Kellan Green. Sadly missed by her sisters Gwen Pole and Juanita McKellar and sister in law Eunice Parker. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Faye was born on October 28, 1926 on the family farm in Ekfrid Twp. Predeceased by her parents Dollie and Percy Galbraith, infant brothers Ronald and Neil; Sisters in law Eleanor Condon; Margaret Pfeffer and brothers in law Leonard Pole, Donald McKellar, Alex Condon, Johnnie Pfeffer and Howard Parker and Sandra and Bob Mitchell. Faye loved her family, friends and community. Friends and relatives will be received at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD. 32 Metcalfe St W STRATHROY on Wednesday November 7, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm, where funeral service will be held on Thursday November 8, 2012 at 2:00pm with Chaplain Inge Stahl officiating.
