Obituary of Iva McLeod

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Chateau Gardens, Parkhill on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Iva L. McLeod in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas McLeod (1995). Dear mother of Shirley Graham (Don) of Strathroy. Loving grandmother of Greg(Krista)Graham and Jeff Graham and cherished great grandmother of Alexa, Makenna, Nikki and Myles Graham. Survived by her half-sister Joyce Steeper. Also survived by sisters in-law Marg McLeod and Justa Gilliland as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Bruce McLeod (1968) and her brother Russell Belt (2000) and sisters Reta Wilson (2004) and Mary McDonald (2008). Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY on Thursday March 1, 2012 from 7 pm to 9 pm where funeral service will be held on Friday March 2, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Rev Julia Sinclair officiating. Private family interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations in memory of Iva to Chateau Gardens Nursing Home Memorial Fund (Parkhill) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Iva.
