Obituary of Janis Palmer

On Monday, January 16, 2012, after a long battle with cancer she passed at LHSC (University Campus) and is finally at peace. Janis Anne Palmer (Hokansson) of Strathroy in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Ray Palmer. Loving mother of Jeff (Tammy) Palmer and Jason (Wendy) Palmer and grandmother of Rick, Zach, Nathan and Emily. Dear sister of Dick (Lynda) Hokansson, Doug (Lena) Hokansson and Dennis (Shirley) Hokansson and sister-in-law of Audrey Hokansson and Bill Thomson. Predeceased by her sister June Ball and her husband Stewart, her brother Eric Hokansson and her sister Marion Thomson. Janis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be truly missed by all that knew her. Visitation will be held at Strathroy United Church, 131 Front Street West, Strathroy on Saturday, January 21 from 10 am until 11 am when a memorial service will be held with Rev.
