Obituary of Julia Pedden

Peacefully with family at her side on Monday, October 24th, 2011 at Strathroy Hospital. Julia Pedden (nee Tunks) of Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Pedden (1987). Dear Mother of Sandra Schakel (Gary) and Jim Pedden (Donna) all of Strathroy. Proud Grandmother of David (Cassie), Mike (Laura), Michelle (Vic), Jimmy (Alisha ). Great-grandmother to Ashley, Austin, Nicholas, Tyler and Jamie, Great great grandmother to Alex and Owen. Also survived by sisters Ethel Mortley and Bonnie Tunks. Predeceased by sister Madeline Jarmain. Loving Aunt of John Mortley of Woodstock and Nancy Anderson (Terry) from Alberta. Visitations will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home in Strathroy, on Tuesday October 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral chapel on Wednesday October, 26th at 11:00am with interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation or Alzheimers Society in memory of Julia. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Julia .
