Obituary of Elisabeth Duister

After a long and healthy life and after a short illness, the Lord took her home, on Friday, October 21, 2011 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Leendert Duister (1986). Dear mother of Lena Brand of California, Leo and Cora Duister of Sarnia, Ann Doek, Walt Duister, Diane Westgate, Jenny Flynn and Bert and Marlene Duister and mother-in-law of Cathy Duister all of Strathroy. Also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sons Wouter and Jake and son-in-laws Hank Brand, Bert Doek and Reg Westgate. Visitation will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, Drury Lane, Strathroy on Monday, October 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25 at 11 Am with Rev. Peter Hoytema officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated.
