Obituary of Winnie Pedden

On Tuesday August 9, 2011 at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy. Quietly with family at her side. Winnifred G. "Winnie" Pedden (Dowding) of Strathroy in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late J. Arthur Pedden (1985). Dear mother of Ruth Long (Lloyd)of Oil Springs, Barbara Wardell (Ken) of LaSalle and Nancy Tomchick of Strathroy. Fondly rememberd by Larry Tomchick. Grandmother of Laurie Byers (David), Karen Strachan (Chris), Debbie Cassan (Bob), Denise McCann (Shawn), Darcy Tomchick (Maureen) and Terri Condon (Tom) great grandmother of 9 and great great grandmother of 1. Predeceased by her brother Herb Dowding. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY on Thursday August 11 th from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm where funeral service will be held, on Friday August12, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Arthur Hiley officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations in memory of Winnie to the Family Council at Sprucedale Care Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
