Obituary of Melvin Laker

Peacefully with family by his side, on Saturday July 23, 2011 at the age of 83. Loving husband of June Laker (nee Zink) for 24 years. Beloved father of Shirley Crouse, Sharon (Mark) Feeney, late LeRoy (1987) and step children Brenda (Don) Marshall, Edward Chambers and late Bill Chambers. Survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Forever in the heart of his siblings Ray (Eileen) Laker, the late Eva Laker and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday July 26th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy. A legion service directed by The Royal Canadian Legion Sir Arthur Currie Branch 116 will be held at 6:30pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, July 27th at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow.
