Obituary of John Bavel

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at London Health Sciences Centre (UH) on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. John Adrianes Van Bavel of Watford and formerly Strathroy in his 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Josephina Van Bavel (2010). Dear father of Martin Van Bavel (Suzanne) of Pembroke, Joseph Van Bavel (Charlene) of Chatham and Marianne Whalen (Jim) of Sarnia. Also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Adrian Van Bavel (1999). Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday, June 17 at 1 pm with Fr. Gerard Bedard officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
