Obituary of Roland George Richardson

After a short battle with cancer, Roland George Richardson passed away September 9^th, 2019 in his 82^nd year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Richardson (1998) and his loving partner Shirley Giffen. Loving father of Wanda Needham-Dack (Rob), Rolanda Cole (Rob) and Greg Richardson (Sue). Proud grandpa and papa of Adam, Danielle (Darren), Brodie, Maggie, Emma, Ryan, and Michael. Cherished great-grandpa of Preston and Lincoln. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Shirley Richardson, his 6 brothers and his son-in-law Dan (1997). Roland will be remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. As per Roland’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Roland’s life will take place on Sunday, September 22^nd, 2019 from 1:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. with words of remembrance being shared at 2:00p.m. at the Strathroy Legion Branch 116. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Strathroy Legion Branch 116, Poppy Fund or the Breast Assessment Centre at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
