I'm totally devastated. Please know that I'm praying for Cody, Brianna, family, and friends. Cody spent many hours (when he should have been in class) with me in the chaplaincy office at HCC. He was genuinely loving, and a person who went out of his way to take care of anyone who needed it. His cheeky smile and sharp wit brightened my day regularly.
I'm sad because he's gone, but I'm better for having known him. May God bless him and may he be at peace.

Cody, was an amazing guy. He was there for anyone who needed someone to talk to, he gave those hugs that you could only dream of! He was one of the kindest guys I’ve ever meet.
