Huizinga, Hendrik “Hank”

It is with great celebration the family of Hank Huizinga announces his peaceful passing surrounded by his 4 children, on November 12, 2019 in his 90^th year at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Hank came to Canada all those years ago with very little and looked back knowing he had so much. He knew he had been blessed beyond measure. Husband of the late Fenny Huizinga (2012). Loving Father of Diana (Epp) De Vries, Alice Leonard, Francis (Andy) Kassies and Peter (Michelle) Huizinga. Opa of 14 Grandchildren and and Great-Opa of 15 Great-grandchildren. Survived by his Sister Tina of The Netherlands. Dear and loyal friend of Liz Reitsma. Hank will be remembered by many extended family and friends near and far.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18^th, 2019 at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY from 7:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19^th, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Providence United Reformed Church, Strathroy. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Suite at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
