Obituary of Victor Mascola

On Wednesday, June 9th, 2010, Victor Mascola of Strathroy, Ontario, in his 66th year passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Dear husband of the late Rosemary. He will be sadly missed by his son James (Traci) Mascola of Orillia, Ontario, his daughter Marnie Mascola of London, Ontario, his daughter Alexandria (Paul) Lattimore of Strathroy, Ontario, and beloved friend Sharon Schakel of Strathroy, Ontario. Son-in-law of Dave and Rose Vrooman of Guelph and brother-in-law of Cris Calley-Jones. He is the cherished grandfather of Corey, Kelsi-Aryn, Megan, Taylor, Hailey, Zachary and Brooklyn and great grandfather of Emma. Beloved Son of the late Matteo and Mary Mascola. Dear brother of Liz Holman and Lucy Krause of Guelph. Also remembered by many friends and relatives in Strathroy and Guelph, especially Rick and Ruth Finamore. Also survived by his son-in-law Paul McAuley. A public visitation will be held on Friday, June 11th from 6pm - 9pm at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating, on Saturday, June 12th at 11am. Interment will follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
