Suddenly at home on Friday, February 26, 2010 in his 69th year. Beloved husband and best friend to Marjorie (Whiting). Loving father of the late Jeffrey Albert Versteegden. Dear brother of Elizabeth (Harry) Kennes, Tony and Ann Versteegden, Catherine and Frank Vanderburgt, Hank (Joanne) Dorssers, Jane and Lou Vanderheyden, Adrian and Cathy Versteegden and Thea and Gus Backx and brother-in-law to Gladys (Robert) Maynard and John and Dianne Whiting. Visitation at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY on Sunday, February 28 from 5-9 PM. A Knights of Columbus memorial service will be held Sunday evening at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Private family interment in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or All Saints Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
