Obituary of Hilda Bernice Vanderhoek

With tremendous sadness, we announce that Hilda Bernice Vanderhoek (née Hibma)  passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of the late Ray Vanderhoek for 45 years. Devoted mother of Tracy (Washington) Murray, Shelley Crosby, Darcy, Tim and the late Adam (1990). Cherished grandma of Jasmine, Mitchell, Hayley and Olivia. Predeceased by her parents Ids and Aaltje Hibma and parents-in-law Wietze and Sijke Vanderhoek. Loving sister to the late Richard Hibma, Alice (Bram) Brouwer, Charlie (Ann) Hibma, Kathy (Siebe) Bruinsma, Ben (Jean) Hibma, Don Hibma and Dorothy (Dennis) Eves, as well as sister-in-law of the late Jerry and Grace Vanderhoek, Henry (Judy) Vanderhoek and the late Mike Vanderhoek. Much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be forever missed but never forgotten. A special thank-you to the staff at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Cremation will take place.
