I wish to give my sincere condolences to Co and family. Whenever I visit Strathroy from my home in Oshawa I try to meet old acquaintances at Gardenia restaurant for early morning coffee. For many years Ralph was sure to be there almost every weekday morning adding his stories to the conversation with his slant of humour and passion for fishing. He will be missed.

Just over thirty five years ago,I moved from Timmins to London. I only had one year of meat cutting under my belt and couldn't find a job in London. After looking at a map (a paper map, not Google maps), I was led to the IGA in Strathroy. No luck. I decided to take a different route home and turned right off Highway 81 onto Highway 22. I drove past a place with 'meat' in its name: "Ralph Bos Meats". I drove by, but then turned around.
I had no idea how that decision would change my life. Ralph and Pete were both there; I wasn't quite what they were looking for, but they took a chance on me. It didn't take long for a lasting relationship with the Bos family to develop.
I guess what I want to say is that if people were a little more like Ralph Bos, this world would be a much better place.

Never really got to see Great Uncle Ralph much,
but I could see some of my Opa Ytze Bos in him.

Ralph was a tremendous encouragement to me during the 7 years I served as his pastor. His love for teaching catechism classes was overshadowed only by his love for Christ and His Word. I have fond memories as one of his occasional fishing buddies. He will be missed by family and friends alike. May the Lord comfort Coby and the family during g these days.
