Obituary of Shirley Yvonne Giffen

Born in London, Ontario on January 6th, 1953; Shirley Yvonne Giffen passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on December 27th, 2019. She is survived by her father Norman Giffen of Strathroy. Proud sister of Murray (Geraldine) of Maple, B.C. and Perry Giffen (Caroline Berkeley) of Strathroy. Stepsister of Janet (Ken) Seim of Peterborough, ON, Nancy (Brian) Clayton of Comox, B.C., Dawn (Robert) Jackson Coldwater, ON and Kimberley (Todd) Lang of Strathroy, ON. Shirley will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her mother Jean Giffen (1964), sister Shelley Giffen (1968), partner Roland “Rollie” Richardson (2019) and stepmother Rose Marie Giffen (2019). In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at Strathroy Legion on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Private inurnment to follow.
