Just saw this. So sorry to hear of Ineke’s passing. My condolences to all of you. My mom was a neighbour on Millpond Crescent until her passing in 2013. Ineke was always so friendly when we would see her while visiting mom and since that time when I would occasionally see her around Strathroy. My thoughts and prayers are with you Peter and family.

My favourite memory of Ineke is the surprise on her face when she came to sit next to me in a pew in Salmon Arms CRC. Piet and Ineke were traveling and visiting people along the way and I was traveling east when I lived in Calgary. It was an unexpected, joyous reunion noticed by many who were waiting for the service to begin. She was indeed a very special person. I am blessed to have her example of warmth and friendliness to aspire to. Blessings to Piet and the family during this time of loss and adjustment.
