Our hearts go out to June and Barb and all the families of Laila. She was a wonderful lady and we enjoyed her so much at Trillium Beauty Shop. She would come in and help in any way she could, taking out rollers, answering phone and she even did a shampoo or two for us. She would hum along while she worked and we think she enjoyed it as much as we did. Her tales of all her travels were a part of our lives. We envied her zest for life and her love of dancing and music. We always said we wanted to 'be like Laila' when we grew older. We talk about her and miss her presence every day.

Our condolences on Laila's passing. She will be greatly missed by her family and will always be remembered as someone who loved to play the piano. She loved life to the fullness. She will be greatly missed.
I personally have many fond memories of her but one that comes to mine every time I think of her is the spicy raisin cake which she served every time you came for a visit.

Barb, Gerry, June and families. Mom (Ethel) and I want to offer our most sincere condolences. We have such wonderful memories of your mom over many years. I will always remember her beautiful smile and kind spirit. She and Bill celebrated mom and dads 50th wedding anniversary with us and visited them in Florida. I can't drive by her and Bob's house on Condfed without remembering them there. And so many more memories. Such a well lived life. Much love and hugs at this sad time. We will celebrate her life together when time comes.

I'm Evelyn (Kraft) Miller's daughter. I have only a very few personal memories of Laila, but many more through mom. She always speaks so affectionately of her 'country cousins' and remembers the time that she and her sister Lil spent visiting her cousins Laila and Lena on the farm. These were always restorative visits for the two city sisters. While the cousins didn't have the opportunity to see as much of each other when they were older, it was very clear to me that the bond among them remained strong. Thank you for remembering mom and calling to let her know about Laila's passing.
