Obituary of Frank Seed

Peacefully on 30 April 2020 at Sprucedale Care Center, Strathroy, ON, John Franklin, (Frank) Seed of Strathroy, in his 93rd year. Frank is survived by his (7) seven children, Linda Hamilton (Gary), Douglas Seed (Sharen), Wayne Seed (Joan), John Seed (Lori), Laurie Tomassen, (Kare), Lonna Simpson (John), and Mike Seed, Sister in law, Shirley Kemp, Joan Kemp, and several Nieces and Nephews. He is also survived by 21 Grand Children and 38 Great Grand Children. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn Seed (nee Kemp), Sister Frieda Calcutt, brothers Fred and Edward (Ted) Seed, Sisters in law Fern Seed, Marguerite Seed and brothers in law Robert (Bob) Calcutt, Donald Kemp, Gordon Kemp, John Kemp, Fred Kemp and 3 great grandchildren. Frank was blessed with a large, loving family and all of them in the coming days will remember him in many ways and for different reasons but his seven children will remember him for his strength of character during some difficult years looking after their Mom, his wife of 62 years, Evelyn, now forever reunited. Frank survived the great depression served in the RCR in the closing years of WWII. Frank has been a Legion member for over 50 years at the Sir Arthur Currie Branch 116, in Strathroy ON. DENNING’S OF STRATHROY have been entrusted the arrangements of a private Family interment at the Strathroy Cemetery, with Pastor Dave Adams of the First Baptist Church Strathroy officiating.
