When I think of you I smile. I imagine your mischevious laugh and the way you could capture the attention of an entire room with your presence. We were friends the moment we met. You were just real and unfiltered, a genuine soul that instantaniously connected with mine. You never failed to make me laugh with your crazy antics. I'll never forget the morning I went into your room to wake you up so we could go to school and you shot out of your bed and drop kicked me like a friggin ninja! You thought it was one of your brothers. You were super sorry and literally apologized the entire walk to school. We went on a lot of wild adventures and walked a lot of miles.
When I think about the kind of person you are, these are some of the many things that come to mind, selfless, compassionate, solid, extremely honest, hilarious, talented, complex, genuine and rare. You are not the kind of human that can be easily summed up into words, so I must apologize for my feeble attempt. I'm going to miss you in the kind of way that takes a piece of my heart forever.
May your beautiful soul rest in peace.
Love Always,
Trin

I am so deeply saddened to read of Erik's tragic passing. We had countless moments of joy and great conversations whenever he visited me at Entertainment Tonight. He was a rare individual that had the ability to touch everyone's hearts that he came into contact with. Such a rare kind thoughtful soul that will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to Erik's family.

We met up with Kurt and Erik at the Metal For Autism fundraiser - I think it was 2014. My son Nicholas Greeson's (RIP 2018) band Strength in Numbers also played that event. My heart goes out to the excellent Kettler clan. No family deserves this. Trust me, I know. Jam in heaven, Erik & Nick.

Erik was one of the sweetest, funniest people I know with a generous spirit. When he would show up to spend time with his dad and I he would always have a joke to share.... some element of surprise...or a quote from a movie.
Erik will be dearly missed but not forgotten.

Our love and hugs go out to all of Erik's family and friends...so heartbroken to hear this news. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Erik on a few occasions..he worked with my Olivia and Brody. Brody loved to joke around with him and enjoyed their conversations. I loved hearing the stories when they came home from work. Olivia enjoyed him so much...he always knew how to put a smile on her face, she loved his humour and we all feel very saddened by the loss of a friend Olivia called Giggles. Please give our dearest and deepest condolences to all. May the memories you shared bring you strength and comfort at this time.

Erik, you were the kindest person I knew who truly just wanted everyone to be happy! My fondest memories are of you jumping from the "top turnbuckle" to drop the "Macho Elbow" or falling prey to the "sharpshooter". Neither of them as funny as running around the house quoting a movie line from "Night of the Living Dead". You truly loved to make everyone happy!
Erik Kettler, your the Best there is, the Best there was and the Best There Ever Will Be.

Such a tragic loss. You have such a big heart, you couldn’t say no to anyone. No matter how bad a day I was having, your stupid laugh and jokes would make me shake my head at you, but you’d always say but I made you laugh. And I did laugh often. Wishing you peace and Deepest Sympathies to your family and friends and hoping you smile lots as you talk and reminisce about him.

This is heart breaking Erik was one of the most humble people I know. I meet Erik in high school we use to have random conversations in the hall ways all the time. One time we stopped and talked before class and when we where about to go our seperate ways he says by the way I don't want this to sound rude but i am horrible with names and i have been for days now trying to remember yours what's your name again sorry. I just laughed and said Nikita he said Nikita ok cool see you later Nikita and ill try to remember for next time and laughed.
That memory makes me laugh still to this day im going to miss seeing him around town and saying hi!
To the kettler and Kellstine family I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences.
