June, Michelle, Gabrielle, David we were saddened to hear of John's passing. He always had a smile and was ready to chat. He had a great sense of humour. We will miss him. He loved to sing in the choir and he would really get into the upbeat songs. I remember his love the the traditional hymns when I played. Much love and hugs to all of you at this time. So sorry to hear of Johns passing. Our hope is he hasn’t suffered too long. That is such a good picture of him. It has been years since we have had a visit. Sending sincere condolences to the Jacobi Family, June, David and Michelle from the Austin’s of Goderich, Steve & Kandice, Jason & Joan and Ron & Judy Austin. Ron & Judy (Steve & Jason’s parents) spent a few years living on Westmount Street, just around the corner from the Jacobi’s., raising Jason and I. Mr. Jacobi was always up for a laugh as he had a great sense of humour. He was so kind to us neighborhood kids, which took a lot of patience! We have so many good memories of our short time living in Strathroy, and neighbours like the Jacobi’s welcomed us to the neighbourhood with open arms! John was just a great human all around, so please accept our heartfelt condolences! Love the Austin’s of Goderich.
