I’m sorry to hear of Millie’s passing. So many memories of times spent at the Metcalfe St house , her “Avon lady “ coffee visits with my Mom at our house . Not enough visits to Kettle Point to see her . She was a truly wonderful lady and will be missed .
Condolences and hugs to all the McNaughton families . Hugs
Debbie Hunter and family

My condolences to Millies family. I remember as a kid walking by or riding my bike down the road to say to Her and Howard. My grandma (Diane) and Mil became really great friends and they had their routine of tea and soap opera time in the afternoons. When I was there last, I enjoyed our visit with Mil and Mary. They always had the best stories! I occasionally ran into Millie around Strathroy and she always filled me in on the latest Kettle Point news and took the time to ask about everyone in my family. She was a wonderful lady, filled with wit, kindness and care and concern for others. She loved a good joke, had a great sense of humour and such a good laugh. I will definitely miss seeing her around town. My condolences to her family. I hope the wonderful memories you have of her will comfort you in the days ahead. I’m so sorry for your loss.

As many of you know your mom reminded us of our mom over the years since she passed and I always enjoyed talking to Millie as the stories made my mom seem closer. They were a rare breed. Worked hard, had difficult lives and never complained. Their knowledge wasn’t obtained in a class room but they were brilliant due to bring self taught in the school of hard knocks. She was loved dearly by our family and her generosity and sense of humour will always be remembered. Love to you all.
