Obituary of Crista Ann Pelacek

It is with broken hearts the family of Crista Ann Pelacek announces her passing on October 19^th, 2020 after a very courageous and strong battle with cancer at the age of 50. Beloved wife of Dan Durepos. Loving mother of Nathan Pelacek and Cassidy Pelacek and step-mom of Clayton Durepos. Cherished sister and best friend of Mechelle Pelacek (David Binnendyk) and Peter (Sonya) Pelacek. Crista is survived by her mother Carol Pelacek and her godmother Lorraine Turecky. Predeceased by her father Donald Pelacek (2002). Crista will be remembered by her nieces and nephews Taylor, Alex, Kristian, Cole, Cody and  Sam (Mitch). 

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Friday, October 23^rd, 2020 followed by a funeral service. Interment to take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to the staff at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Palliative Care for all of their kindness and compassion during Crista’s time there.
