Rene Vanderbeeten

Obituary of Rene Vanderbeeten

Vanderbeeten, “Rene”

It is with heavy hearts the family of Rene Vanderbeeten announces his sudden passing on November 24th, 2020 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of the late Gayle Vanderbeeten (2017). Loving father of Rhonda Wyatt (Mike Tobey) and Shanon Morningstar- Kyle (David Kyle). Cherished and proud Pappa of Mason (Cara), Mackenzie, Rene, Ethan. Rene is survived by his sisters Bette Parker, Paula Stevens and Mary Does. Rene is predeceased by his brothers John and Aubrey Vanderbeeten. To remember a life like our dad’s would take a mountain of trees. How do you sum up all of his accomplishments and attributes?

Rene Vanderbeeten was known for many reasons, he was a business man who went above and beyond for his customers, he was known as a Lions Club Member where he worked within the community to help build a better world for future generations. He cultivated a Merritt of friendships within these worlds that have lasted his entire life. He took pride in a job well done, enjoyed laughing out loud as much as he could, and spending time with those he held close in his heart.

The relationships he created with young and old alike said something to the man he was.  He gave each relationship the respect it deserved and nourished each accordingly.

The job he took most pride in was his family. Along side our mom (Gayle) he built us a box of memories filled with adventure, travel, fantasy, a sense of belonging and safety  knowing there was always a soft place to land with a warm hand to hold. His generous spirit had him willfully offer a helping hand to those who asked and he always offered a fair deal in trade.

The kind hearted, openly loving, witty, toe tapping, beer drinking, loved to sing and dance man will be what most remember about him.

Shanon and myself (Rhonda) will remember him as DAD. The man who we both hold as our standard of measure for our own chosen men. Our children, Rene’s grandchildren kept him young at heart and he thrived in there  company. He taught them all the important things they needed to know and each one of them had an endearing relationship with him.

PAPPA, DAD, HUSBAND, BROTHER, UNCLE, FRIEND

whatever the title;

 you will be remembered fondly by many.
