Gene was a special friend to my Husband Rene Plante. I always would chuckle at church during Communion as Gene would walk by him and always pat him on the head. When Rene passed away Gene held my hand with tears in his eye and said I will miss my friend. I now offer up my deepest condolences to Fran and all the family. Elizabeth Plante and Family.

Sending our thoughts and love to all the family. Is very hard that we can't be there with you at this time but being able to see the funeral on line helped. Pat, Steve and Mary was good to see you if only that way. Steve and Mary you did very well under the very hard circumstances today talking about your dad. The stories reminded me of the many visits when we were "younger" to your parents house. I had many golf games with Fran and Gene and I always did try to let Gene win! :-) I am looking forward to the day we can all get together again in person.
Love Always Sean, Katie, Aiden and Rachael!!

To Aunt Franny and the entire family, we send our deepest sympathies and warmest wishes of support at this very sad time. Uncle Gene will be missed greatly. At this time in particular, he is in all of our thoughts and prayers. We count ourselves extremely fortunate to be part of Uncle Gene's family and we take comfort in sharing stories and memories that inevitably include lots and lots of laughter and very good times for us all, due in very large part to Uncle Gene. He is very much loved and again, he will be missed greatly. May Uncle Gene rest in the greatest of peace and in the comfort of his dear Lord.
With warmest love, support and kindest sympathies,
Marg, Mike, Susan, Colleen, Maylene and Mick.
