Peacefully, on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Strathroy-Middlesex General Hospital, Rotha George (nee Steeper) at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Douglas Ernest George (1995). Beloved mother of William (Marie) George of Watford, Kenneth (Sandra) George of Sarnia and Linda (Garry) Moore of Sarnia. Dear grandmother of Kathy, Patti (Garrett), April, Mike (Shiann), Craig (special friend Emily), Jeff (Stephanie), Stephen (Jennifer), Brian and great-grandmother of 11. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where a funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 15th at 1:00 pm with Reverend Thomas Anderson officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Strathroy-Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
